Today we have a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta TDI in, that is suffering from Diesel contamination. This can occur from poor quality diesel, filling up with gasoline, or other like not replacing fuel filter, and, in this case caused the high pressure fuel pump to fail. Job of the day: Here we have a 2010 Audi A6 with the 3.0T Supercharged. The vehicle was continuously overheating. There are two common issues with this vehicle: 1. The original water pumps had a plastic housing, causing failure. 2. The thermostats have issues as well. We are replacing both the Water Pump with an updated metal water pump, and putting in a new thermostat.

Audi S4 4.2l V8 Update

A few weeks ago, we posted about an Audi S4 that came in that was running rough. Upon diagnosis we found that the timing was off. We pulled the engine out and found there were multiple broken timing chain guides, that caused the chain to loosen up, causing poor timing. We have now retimed the vehicle with new chains and guides, and it’s almost ready to be reinstalled back in the car.   But not

Here’s an interesting one, a couple days ago, we had a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta come in, and the key wasn’t turning in the ignition. We pulled the steering column apart and had to replace the ignition housing. Now it works like a charm!
